Summit Hills MDS Coordinator Takes on Home Health Administrator Job

Spartanburg, S.C., April 6, 2009- Cheryl Jones, Minimum Data Set Coordinator for Summit Hills, a full service retirement community in Spartanburg, South Carolina, will take on the additional responsibility of Home Health Administrator.
As Home Health Administrator, Jones will supervise the day-to-day operation of the Home Health operations for the company including but not limited to the planning, developing, and directing of the programs, services, activities, and employees of the Home Health Agency. She will also supervise home health staff, oversee client care, ensure the implementation of the plan of care for each client, and organize and ensure that the living environment is sanitary and comfortable for the client under the direction of the Regional Operations Director.
Prior to becoming the MDS Coordinator Jones worked as a Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing at Valley Falls Terrace Nursing Home; a Registered Nurse/Staff Nurse/Case Manage at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center; Registered/Nurse Director of Nursing at Camp Care Nursing Home; a Registered Nurse/MDS Coordinator, Summit Hills Skilled Nursing Facility.
Cheryl Jones received an Associate's Degree of Science in Nursing from the Mary Black School of Nursing University of South Carolina Upstate in 1999. She also received a Diploma in Practical Nursing, Spartanburg Technical College in 1987.
