Spartanburg, South Carolina, casually known to many as the “Hub City”, boasts a history steeped in strong work ethic, sweet music and all around Southern charm. Located in the Upstate of South Carolina, Spartanburg is just a short drive away from the winding Blue Ridge Mountains, an hour southwest of Charlotte and about two hours away from the bustling metropolis of Atlanta.

Sitting in this “hub” of activity, Spartanburg offers entertainment opportunities galore both inside and outside the city limits. Known for years as the home of the Marshall Tucker Band, Marshall Chapman and Uncle Walt's Band, Spartanburg today is still alive with the wild abandon of artists and the blissful sounds of music. The new Chapman Cultural Center in downtown pays tribute to the artists of the past and hosts regular performances and exhibits from present artists as well.

Spartanburg is a “just right” city in that it is not too big, not too small and has everything you need within easy driving distance. With the charming remnants of the fabled mill villages dotting the outskirts of the city, Spartanburg is a city both on the move boasting the corporate headquarters for several major American companies, as well as small but cute boutiques around town offering the relaxing feel of easy living.
